I’m a husband, a father, a business owner and an enthusiast for all things health.
I’m a people person with a great passion for fitness so I guess my destiny was always to become a personal trainer! I love being outdoors, building things, I’m a real handyman at heart.
I love a great steak and a refreshing beer to wash it down with, I’m your typical Aussie bloke.
I love team sports, I played footy for most of my teenage/early 20’s and was successful enough to play and few yearsQLD Cup.
I have a passion for body building, I love the discipline it takes to reach that desired outcome, I haveeven won a few trophies along the way too!
I am competitive but not in that I must win, just in that I challenge myself to be better than I was yesterday & I challenge my clients to do the same.
Fitness is a lifestyle for me. Nutrition and diet are my medicines. The gym is my therapy.
My goal is to improve and prolong people’s lives through sustainable lifestyle changes.Together we will create a personalised nutritional plan and I will educate you on how to track and measure food. We will design individual training programs that I will guide you through teaching you the importance of execution and not just counting reps and sets.
Level 1 Coach AJ Elderkin
AJ has been involved with sport and fitness his whole life. He played high level baseball in America, and now enjoys competing in bodybuilding.
Aj is a master at building muscle and will take your weights session to another level. He is also great with people starting out looking to get motivated and lose a few kg’s.
With his fun loving, approachable attitude, AJ can help you achieve any goal!
The guidance, support, and knowledge I received in personal training sessions with Matt helped me lose over 14 kgs in 8 weeks. In total, with Matt's support, I have now lost over 21 kgs and started building muscle. I am now a fitter, stronger, healthier and happier me.

When I started PT sessions with Mattour first goal was to lose 10kg in 3 months! With the guidance and support of Matt as well as the continued support of the Keen Az Private Facebook Page I did just that losing 11.4kg! I reset my goals and continued working making these changes part of my lifestyle which saw me through to my first major milestone – a loss of 20kg in under a year! I am still training weekly with Matt 6 years later and there’s no looking back now.
